In Openzone knowledge is shared among all Life Science partners with the aim to foster innovation, synergy and mutual development. In the campus joint projects and partnerships are initiated, as is the case for Zambon and Newron for the development of a novel molecule for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease.
Moreover, the business community based in Openzone promotes the creation of a shared language and supports the continuous exchange of information on research and innovation, strengthening over time the sense of belonging and the development of successful projects.
In the next 3 years, Openzone will undergo a new development phase with an investment of 40 million Euro. The campus will become an even more attractive location for companies operating in the Life Sciences sector.
In the future masterplan the site will be expanded to an additional 22,500 square meters dedicated to technologically advanced laboratories and innovative startups in the field of scientific, medical research, and digital health. Additional news facilities will complete the services offered in the Openzone campus.

Innovative and modern spaces will redraw the geography of the urban fabric of the area thanks to a contemporary and futuristic architectural design of the new campus.
